Biography: I took up a position as Director, Research Sweden, Karo Bio AB in November 2001. I have previous experience both from pharmaceutical industry and biotech through careers at Pharmacia Corp. and Sequenom. Before working in the industry I received my Ph. D. at the Karolinska Institute followed by a Postdoc at EMBL and appointment as Associate Professor at the Karolinska Institute.

Close to 15 years experience from leading management positions in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently CEO and co-founder of Axcentua Pharmaceuticals AB, a Swedish privately owned early clinical biotech company developing innovative treatments for cancer. Before pharmaceutical industry career approximately 15 years experience from academic research on transcriptional regulation and nuclear hormone receptor signaling.
