Enter a search term in the search box at the top of the page, and press the "search" button.
The system searches the fields: First name, surname, research interests, current institute, city, country and nationality. The number of results are displayed directly under the search box, and the term queried is highlighted in the text.
Under the Search box at the top of the page, you will see the number of search results found for any one search.
You can filter a search by using the left-hand menu. Filters can only be applied AFTER you have begun a search. To cancel one or more filters, simply close the relevant filter from the "Filters" box at the top of the search list. The Filters box only appears after you have selected a filter from the left-hand menu.

During this period I did an 9months training period at the CEA-Grenoble in the Laboratory for Chemistry and Biology of Metals. According to that I became familiar with working conditions needed to work with oxygen-sensitve proteins (expression, purification in glove-box). Lot of technique allowing the characterization of Iron-Sulfur protein were used as well.I also used NMR to validate the synthesis of organic compound supposed to interact with Iron-sulfur clusters of proteins.
Since 2011/03 I am doing a PhD at the UJF under the supervision of Pr. Schlattner on AMP activated protein kinase. This project involve a strong collaboration between the university and Imre Berger's group at the EMBL. Thanks to that I spent one year and a half at EMBL outstation grenoble where I became familiar with a lot of technique allowing the cloning, the expression, and the characterization of protein complexes. A large part of this project involve fluorescence techniques (FRET, FLIM,...) too. -

Biography Hide biographyBiography: Born in Kerala, India in 1979. I was trained in Virology and Plant biotechnology from Paichai University, South Korea under Dr.C.W.Choi. I was trained in molecular biology and plant biotechnology for 3 and half years. We were working with animal viruses and trying different approaches to develop vaccines including edible vaccines. I had joined Dr.Berger's Lab in 2008 for my post doctoral research. I was involved in developing the New MultiBac2010 vector system and related strains. It was a great pleasure and learning experience at EMBL.Currently I have joined Amrita center for Nanoscience and Molecular Medicine as Research Scientist ,Kochi, Kerala,India.
