In 2001, I joined the CNS department of Bayer Healthcare AG in Wuppertal as Laboratory Head in the Alzheimer's disease group. After two years at Bayer, I moved back to Heidelberg and headed the chemical proteomics based screening activities at Graffinity Pharmaceuticals. In 2004, I joined the EMBL, Heidelberg at the newly founded screening group (Chemical Biology Core Facility). Being one of the first members of staff, I set up a state-of-the-art HTS and lead discovery group. Since 2007, I am the Group Leader of the Screening group at Cellzome AG, Heidelberg (now a GSK company). My unit is in charge of both primary screening using Cellzomes Kinobeads chemical proteomics technology and for support of lead optimization projects. -
