You can filter a search by using the left-hand menu. Filters can only be applied AFTER you have begun a search. To cancel one or more filters, simply close the relevant filter from the "Filters" box at the top of the search list. The Filters box only appears after you have selected a filter from the left-hand menu.

    Biography: I worked as a professor and member of the board of directors at the Institute for Genetics at the University of Cologne, from 1964 to 2001. I built up the Institute's Department of Immunology and headed it until I left Cologne. We used mouse genetics to analyze the immune sysyem in the mouse (establishing conditional gene targeting in tyhis context) and worked on human B lymphocytes and B cell tumors. From 1996 to 2001 I took up a part-time job at the EMBL as Programme Coordinator of the newly established Mouse Biology Programme at Monterotondo near Rome, Italy. In 2001. In 2001 I moved my laboratory to Harvard medical School.
