    Biography: I took up a position as Director, Research Sweden, Karo Bio AB in November 2001.     Biography: I went to College in Spain and did my PhD at EMBL in the laboratory of Henk Stunnenberg (Section of Gene Expression). I moved to San Francisco (USA) to work in the laboratory of Keith Yamamoto at UCSF. After 5 years of postdoctoral experience I joined the Institute of Cancer Research (London, UK) as Team Leader of the Gene Regulation group in 1997. Recently (2005), I have moved to the CIC BIOGUNE in Bilbao (Spain) as Group Leader in the Cell BIology & Stem Cells Unit.
