How to search

Enter a search term in the search box at the top of the page, and press the "search" button.

The system searches the fields: First name, surname, research interests,current institute, city, country and nationality. The number of results are displayed directly under the search box, and the term queried is highlighted in the text.

Under the Search box at the top of the page, you will see the number of search results found for any one search.

You can filter a search by using the left-hand menu. Filters can only be applied AFTER you have begun a search. To cancel one or more filters, simply close the relevant filter from the "Filters" box at the top of the search list. The Filters box only appears after you have selected a filter from the left-hand menu.

    Biography: On March 1st 2013 I joint The Genome Analysis Centre (TGAC) Senior Management Team as Head of Training and Outreach. In the past years I have been responsible for the strategic coordination and implementation of the EMBL-EBI’s User-Training programme (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/training/), which provides training for the scientific users of the EMBL-EBI’s data services. Prior to joining the EMBL-EBI in 2007 I held an Assistant Professor position at the University of Bern and the Institute for Aquatic Sciences (EAWAG) and postdocs at the University of Zurich and University of Rome (Torvergata). I studied biology at the University of Rome and obtained my PhD on the evolution of sex at the University of Leiden (NL) and Lyon (France). I have been extensively involved in the acquisition, management and implementation of funded research and training projects throughout my career. In my current position I stayed involved in grant application and successfully obtained and contributed to grants for research fellowships as well as research projects and training.
