Enter a search term in the search box at the top of the page, and press the "search" button.

The system searches the fields: First name, surname, research interests,current institute, city, country and nationality. The number of results are displayed directly under the search box, and the term queried is highlighted in the text.

Under the Search box at the top of the page, you will see the number of search results found for any one search.

You can filter a search by using the left-hand menu. Filters can only be applied AFTER you have begun a search. To cancel one or more filters, simply close the relevant filter from the "Filters" box at the top of the search list. The Filters box only appears after you have selected a filter from the left-hand menu.

    I worked with Pino Macino on Neurospora crassa mitochondria and in 1984 started as research scientist at the Dept. of Biology of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Between 1986-1988 I was at EMBL as a post-doc in Gianni Cesareni?s group, working on the protein/RNA interaction in the ColE1 system. Since 1991, I switched to bioinformatics, working at the beginning a couple of years with Anna Tramontano (at IRBM, Pomezia). Since 2000, I am in tor Vergata as full professor, teaching Bioinformatics.

    Memberships member of the SIBBM (Italian Society of Biophysics and Molecular Biology) since 1995, in the Boards of Directors 1999-2001; member of the INFM (National Institute of Physics of the Matter) since 1996; member of the Steering Committee of the European Science Foundation for the ?Programme on Integrated Approaches for functional Genomics?
