    Biography: Following my PhD studies at EMBL in 2001, I did my postdoctoral studies in the group of Kenneth R. Chien, and subsequently Ju Chen, at University of California San Diego (UCSD), USA. In 2007 I moved to Milan, Italy where I started up my own group as an Assistant Telethon Scientist hosted by the National Research Council.
