Ralph Martens oversees the personnel and finance departments as well as purchase, the grants office, safety, estate management and technology transfer.
Prof. Matthias Hentze, Associate Director
Matthias Hentze is responsible for advanced education, university training collaborations, fundraising and development and Alumni relations. Together with Anne Ephrussi, he coordinates the EMBL International Centre for Advanced Training (EICAT).
Dr. Christian Boulin, Director of Core Facilities and Services
Christian Boulin is responsible for the Core Facilities, scientific services and user facilities, industry relations and strategic planning for infrastructures.
Dr. Silke Schumacher, Director International Relations
Silke Schumacher is responsible for the Office of Information and Public Affairs, relations with EMBL Member States, EIROforum, EU relations, and EMBL partnerships.
