EMBL ImageJ distribution

This is a distribution of ImageJ. ImageJ is a public domain Java image processing program inspired by NIH Image for the Macintosh. It runs, either as an online applet or as a downloadable application, on any computer with a Java 1.1 or later virtual machine. The author, Wayne Rasband (wayne@codon.nih.gov), is at the Research Services Branch, National Institute of Mental Health, Bethesda, Maryland, USA.

The best source of information about ImageJ can be found at the ImageJ homepage and by subscribing to the ImageJ mailing list (details on the home page).

This collection of plug ins is specifically aimed at light microscopy – a small part of ImageJ’s repertoire. This collection of plug ins has merely been collated and organised by Tony Collins (McMaster Biophotonics Facility, McMaster University Hamilton) and extended / modified by us. All plugins have been obtained free from the ImageJ website or elsewhere on the Internet. The credit for this work should go to the authors of the plug ins. (see Appendix of WCIF manual and additional Appendix). Please ensure that they are properly acknowledged in any publication that their work facilitates.

If you are a plug in author and you are not happy with the way your plugin is included or described or cited, please let us know and we will correct any errors immediately.
