Normalization To compare different experiments usually the fluorescence intensity of the average prebleach intensity is normalized to one by dividing the intensity of all timepoints by the average prebleach intensity. This can be easily done with common spreadsheet programs. It is also possible to normalize to numbers of fluorophores by using fluorophore calibration standards (Ellenberg and Rabut). |
