Imaging Molecular Dynamics (EAMNET practical course)
EMBL Heidelberg, 19.-21.4.2004

This EAMNET teaching course focused on time-lapse microscopy of living cells and fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP) analysis of molecular mobility. The acquired data was analyzed by different movement and FRAP analysis tools. Have a look at the course program. There was another ‘Imaging Molecular Dynamics’ course scheduled 2.-4. March 2005.

In this experiment the lower part of the nucleus is bleached and the recovery of the bleach region (FRAP) and the fluorescence loss in the opposite region (FLIP) is monitored. For more details have a look in the results section
