The Erosion module erodes a binary image with a given structure element.
The structure element can be a sphere with a given radius or a user defined kernel. For an overview of morphological operations the
user can refer to Russ, J.C. (2002). The Image Processing Handbook. 4 ed. CRC Press.
The volume will be eroded when the Apply button is pressed.

Choose structure element
This radio box specifies the type of the structure element. One can choose between a sphere and a user defined kernel saved in
an em file.
Sphere radius
The radius for the sphere has to be entered in this number field.
Filename for structure element
This file chooser defines the path and the filename of the user defined structure element.
