Services

Services provided by EMBL Heidelberg include the Core Facilities which provide internal users, collaborators and visitors with access to excellent facilities for high-throughput analysis including microarrays, protein production, mass spectrometry, DNA sequencing, advanced light and electron microscopes and chemical genomics.

Computational Biology tools are provided by several research groups at EMBL Heidelberg and from other EMBL sites like the EMBL-EBI and EMBL Hamburg. Most tools are useful for sequence and structural analysis but an increasing number of tools is dealing with other topics such as protein localisation or protein interaction.

The Szilárd Library is an essential resource for all EMBL scientists, providing access to 180 print journals and 231 e-journals and to collections of theses, reference works, and other publications.
