Registration and Payment

Attendance Fee:
Academia: 400 Euros
Industry: 800 Euros
Accommodation is not included in the registration fee.

The number of participants is limited to 20.

After registering you will be asked to submit your motivation letter. This should contain a statement about current research and a justification of interest in the course. You can submit a motivation letter using the account you've created (email + password). The motivation letter submission link will be found in the confirmation page/ e-mail you will receive after registration. After the registration deadline expired, a selection will take place and all applicants will be informed about the outcome.

Before submitting please take into consideration:

• You have a limit of 2,000 including spaces.
• If you copy paste the text, hidden formatting might still be included and you will be informed that your text exceeds the limit of 2000 characters. We recommend copy-pasting it into Notepad and then onto the website.
• Some symbols are not recognized by the tool if they are copy-pasted.
• If errors still occur, try using a different web browser.

Confirmation and Payment

The registration fee should not be paid before acceptance to the course. Visa letters will not be issued before payment of the registration fee.

EMBL Corporate Partnership Registration Fee Fellowships:

There are a limited number of  EMBL Corporate Partnership Registration Fee Fellowships available for this course.  Please indicate your interest for an EMBL CPP registration fee fellowship when submitting your letter of motivation.  When submitting your letter of motivation, (step 2 after you have registered your personal details), there will be a small field to complete your reasons for requesting this registration fee fellowship.

The recipients of these EMBL CPP registration fee fellowships will be selected by the scientific organiser during the selection process.  They will be mainly awarded to outstanding participants or applicants from countries in need of scientific strengthening - whether located within Europe or internationally.

If you are awarded an EMBL CPP registration fee fellowship, you will be notified after the selection process.  This is usually two months before the course start date.  In this way your registration fees will be waived.
