Today, the German Minister for Education and Research, Annette Schavan, officially opens the new training and conference centre for the life sciences on the campus of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg.

Neues EMBL Konferenzzentrum feiert Richtfest
Heute findet am Europäischen Laboratorium für Molekularbiologie (EMBL) das Richtfest für das neue Ausbildungs- und Konferenzzentrum für die Lebenswissenschaften statt. Das gut 30 Millionen Euro teure Advanced Training Centre (ATC) wird unterstützt vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF), der Klaus Tschira Stiftung gGmbH (KTS), den 20 EMBL Mitgliedsstaaten und dem Land Baden-Württemberg. Eröffnung ist für Herbst 2009 geplant.
