Fellowships

EMBL Advanced Training Centre Corporate Partnership Registration Fee Fellowships

There are a limited number of Advanced Training Centre EMBL Corporate Partnership Programme (CPP) Registration Fee Fellowships available for this course.
Please indicate your interest for an EMBL CPP Registration Fee Fellowship when submitting your motivation letter. During the motivation letter submission phase (step 2 after you have registered for the course) there will be a small field to complete your reasons for requesting this fellowship.
The recipients of these fellowships will be selected by the scientific organiser during the selection phase. They will be mainly awarded to participants from countries in need of scientific strengthening.
If you are awarded a fellowship, you will be notified after the selection (approx. 2 weeks after the registration deadline) and you be asked to confirm your acceptance of the fee fellowship. This means you will not be requested to pay the registration fee for the course.
Please note that the fee waiver does not refer to accommodation costs. If you have selected a registration with accommodation, the accommodation costs will still need to be paid.

Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds Travel Grants (including registration fees)

There are a limited number of Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds, Foundation for Basic Research in Medicine available for this course.
Please indicate your interest for this grant when submitting your letter of motivation. The short list of applicants will be selected by the scientific organiser during course selection process, at which point you will later be contacted and requested to complete a standard form and submit the usual documentation.
The foundation will award the grants to applicants pursuing an experimental project in basic biomedical research and submitting an interesting motivation letter describing this work.
The applicants should belong to one of the following groups of junior scientists:
-PhD students or medical students pursuing an experimental doctoral thesis who are not older than 30 years of age;
-postdocs who are pursuing a particular research project who are not older than 32 years of age.
