Abstract Information

Abstract Submission

We accept only online abstract submissions. To submit an abstract you need to first register for the conference. You will receive the link to the abstract submission in your application confirmation e-mail.

The deadline for submitting your abstract is 1 March 2011 (18:00 Central European Time).

After the registration deadline a selection process will take place and your abstract will be reviewed. You can apply for an oral presentation or poster presentation when submitting your abstract. You will be contacted within 2 - 4 weeks with confirmation of your type of presentation.

Before submitting please take into consideration:

  • The limit of 2,000 characters refers to manually typed text and it includes spaces.

  • Please enter your co-authors correctly via the system by adding accounts with their institution and DO NOT copy them into the body of the abstract text, as they will not be indexed in the abstract book.

  • If you copy paste the text, hidden formatting might still be included and you will be informed that your text exceeds the limit of 2,000 characters. We recommend copy-pasting first into Notepad or saving it as text only to eliminate the hidden formatting and then onto the website editor. Some web browsers do not accept abstracts with 199X characters.

  • Some symbols are not recognised by the tool if they are copy-pasted. Make sure to use Unicode characters so that the tool can recognise the special characters or use the text editor.

  • If errors still occur try using a different web browser.
