Motivation Letter Submission
The course is limited to 24 participants. As part of the registration process you will be asked to submit your motivation letter for selection purposes.
You can submit your motivation letter using the account you have created (email + password).
The motivation letter submission link will be found in the confirmation page/ e-mail you will receive when registering.
Instructions for writing the motivation letter
Include your relevant skills, experience and qualifications which show that you would be suitable for the course.
Explain why you would like to attend, including what you can contribute and how you think you will benefit.

Our system only supports the browsers Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox
The limit of 2,000 characters refers to manually typed text (spaces included).
If you copy paste the text, hidden formatting might still be included and you will be informed that your text exceeds the limit of 2,000 characters. We recommend either
saving your text as text only in your editor or Email programme or
copy-pasting it into Notepad and then onto the website.
Some web browsers do not accept abstracts closer to the 2,000 character count.
If you have special symbols in your text, make sure you are using Unicode characters or else these will not be recognized by the tool.
FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION SECTION
Please check the event’s website for full details on the fellowship types. The EMBL Corporate Partnership Programme (CPP) gives priority to countries in need of scientific strengthening for travel grants and priority to outstanding young scientists who will contribute extraordinarily to the meeting for fee waivers.
NOTE: All questions in the letter of motivation submission module are compulsory fields. If you do NOT wish to apply for a fellowship, please enter an X into the free fields to allow you to submit the page. Maximum characters including spaces is 255 for free field answers.
If applicable: Example of statement of support from your budget holding supervisor: “Joe Bloggs should attend this conference as he has new data to publish, but our lab cannot pay the travel as he has already attended another conference this year in Asia and our travel budget is overspent" (204 characters including spaces)
