Summary:
This course is aimed at advanced PhD students and post-doctoral researchers who are applying or planning to apply high throughput sequencing technologies and bioinformatics methods in their research.
Aims:
The course covers data analysis of RNA-Seq, DNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq and DNA methylation sequencing experiments, including differential expression analysis, ChIP-Seq peak detection, DNA variant detection and methylation analysis.”
Requirements:
Familiarity with the sequencing technology and biological use cases of high throughput sequencing is required, as is some experience with Linux, the Linux command line and the R Statistics package.
