Multiple Sequence Alignment Exercises

Aidan Budd

To avoid the possibility of problems associated with:
we choose not to run any hands-on practicals as part of this tutorial.

However, we do have quite a few exercises/practicals associated with both directly with multiple sequence alignment, and also with multiple sequence alignment within the context of phylogeny estimation, that you might like to try out once you return from the conference.

For example, the following links are to exercises closely related to the material presented during the tutorial:

1. Structure-Based Interpretation of Alignments

2. Examples of Non-Equivalence of Evolutionary and Structural Alignment

3. Introducting Pairwise/Multiple Sequence Alignments with JalView

4. Phylogenetic Analysis - From Start to Finish
