The Euro-BioImaging Bio-Hub hosted by the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is seeking for a highly motivated science professional to support the EC-funded EOSC-Life project (www.eosc-life.eu), including user project management, relevant engagement with the imaging community and outreach activities to researchers in the life sciences, as part of the operation of the European research infrastructure Euro-BioImaging ERIC (www.eurobioimaging.eu). Euro-BioImaging ERIC offers life scientists open access to imaging instruments, expertise, training opportunities, and data management services that they do not find at their home institutions or among their collaboration partners. All scientists, regardless of affiliation, area of expertise, or field of activity, can benefit from these pan-European open access services. Euro-BioImaging offers state-of-the-art imaging services through its internationally renowned facilities, called Nodes. These Nodes are distributed across Euro-BioImaging’s 16 members. EOSC-Life implements workflows that cross disciplines and address the needs of interdisciplinary science. Through calls for user projects, hackathons and bring-your-own-data events the consortium co-creates EOSC-Life with the scientific user communities, providing a blueprint for how the EOSC supports wide-spread and excellent data-driven life science research.
