Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) is a universal powerful and sensitive tool to study macromolecular interaction. The method is based on Surface Plasmon Resonance phenomena. The system allows to monitor in real time association and dissociation of different molecules with partners immobilized on sensor chips.
The most common SPR technology application includes determination of kinetic parameters: equilibrium constant (Kd), association (ka) and dissociation (kd) rates. The method can efficiently be used for epitope mapping, concentration determination and monitoring multiple complex formations.
