Joining the lab

Currently there are opportunities to join our research group as a PhD student, postdoctoral researcher, research assistant or lab manager.

Applicants for postdoctoral positions

For applications please contact Sinem by email and attach your CV and a brief motivation letter describing your background and particular research interests. Current project interests include developing new tools and methods for barcoding biomolecules, high-throughput phenotypic profiling of cells and tissues, studying spatial organization of the nuclei and membraneless organelles, probing protein-RNA-DNA interactions. We also encourage the candidates to develop their own ideas. Experience with microscopy, data analysis, biochemistry, cell biology is beneficial, but we also welcome interdisciplinary backgrounds (computational, chemistry, biophysics).

We participate in the EMBL Interdisciplinary Postdocs (EIPOD) program and the EMBL | Stanford Life Science Alliance are happy to support applications for these collaborative funding opportunities. We are open to international and industry collaborations.
