As part of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), the EMBL Advanced Training Centre is an ideal venue for advanced training which is one of EMBL's five core missions.

The Advanced Training Centre project was funded by generous contributions from the host country, Germany, the Klaus Tschira Foundation, and the EMBL member states. The EMBL Advanced Training Centre also benefits from the support of its corporate partners through the Corporate Partnership Programme.

  • The building has a total volume of 79,228 m³. This equals the contents of 240 mil. coke cans!

  • It takes up an effective area of 10,037 m². This equals 2 ½ football fields.
