Coronavirus information for participants

The onsite course and conference programme at EMBL has been paused until the end of June 2020.

We aim to continue offering our advanced training for the scientific community however we safely can. While some events have been cancelled, many have been rescheduled for a later date and others will be delivered as virtual events.

Registration is open for onsite courses and conferences starting after 1 July and for the virtual events. All registration fees for any events which don’t take place due to the COVID-19 disruption are fully refundable.

Kick off your 2016 EMBL–Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Big Data in Biology and Health experience with a 'Get Together' event in the ATC Rooftop Lounge. Enjoy drinks and network with your peers while listening to Coolanova performance.

The reception will take place on Sunday 25 September 2016 from 20.00 to 23:00.

Don't miss a good opportunity to meet and network with colleagues at the conference dinner which will take place also on Sunday 25 September 2016 in the EMBL Canteen. Our catering staff will prepare a wide variety of vegetarian meals, meat and fish dishes, soups, pasta, fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as a variety of desserts.

EMBL is situated on a wooded hill providing plenty of opportunities for walk. Stretch your legs, enjoy the fresh air and continue your networking! Come to registration desk during lunch time with your group and we can show you the paths around EMBL.

Heidelberg Tour

There will be a 1,5 hour tour to explore Heidelberg Oldtown on Monday, 26 September 2016 from 19.30.

This tour is free of charge. Please register to Diah Yulianti as soon as possible as only 60 places available.
