Coronavirus information for participants
The onsite course and conference programme at EMBL has been paused until the end of June 2020.
We aim to continue offering our advanced training for the scientific community however we safely can. While some events have been cancelled, many have been rescheduled for a later date and others will be delivered as virtual events.
Registration is open for onsite courses and conferences starting after 1 July and for the virtual events. All registration fees for any events which don’t take place due to the COVID-19 disruption are fully refundable.

Accommodation and Shuttles
Single rooms have been reserved for 3 nights (1 - 4 May 2019) at the ISG Hotel. After the selection process, selected participants should contact the hotel directly to make a booking (Booking Code BIR19-02).
Participants staying at the ISG Hotel (near EMBL): Shuttle buses will go from the ISG Hotel to EMBL and back, mornings and evenings. A bus schedule and location of the bus stops will be made available prior to the meeting.
Participants staying at a different hotel are welcome to use the complimentary course shuttle bus – please check the timetable for departure location and times. Alternatively, you can use public transportation.
Further course information will be shared with accepted course participants via Slack (a digital workspace and messaging app).
