Why attend?

The field of cytometry - the study of single cells - is developing rapidly and is applied in almost every scientific discipline from basic to applied research and ultimately the patient bed side. Scientific progress in this very broad field demands quick and thorough communication of novel applications and findings based on improvements in the various technology branches and their use in scientific studies. We want to specifically foster communication across Europe and disciplines by holding a pan-European meeting focusing on science and technology in the field of cytometry, exemplifying the tremendous advances in image cytometry, mass-cytometry, single-cell metabolomics, and classical flow cytometry in combination with high-end sequencing methods.

This meeting will attract a broad audience of scientists, technology providers and facilitators from predominately European institutes. It will provide a unique opportunity for junior researchers and technology experts in Europe to interact with the leading figures in this field, especially from the Bio-IT community, highlighting that Europe is a vivid and powerful contributor to cytometry technology development.

40% of all available presentation slots will be given to early stage researchers to promote visibility and to present ongoing research from a different perspective.

Who should attend?

Young and established scientists and technology facilitators who are passionate about single cell science and open to present and explore new avenues in this burgeoning field.
