With the onsite programme paused, many of our events are now being offered in virtual formats.


Registration is open as usual for many events, with back-up plans in place to move further courses and conferences online as necessary. Registration fees for any events affected by the COVID-19 disruption are fully refundable.

The majority of drugs directed against the druggable proteome are small molecules. However, for several years in a row 8 of the Top-10 pharmaceuticals are biologics.

 

Traditional methods for analyzing the kinetics of biomolecular interactions such as ELISA are often cumbersome and may require rigorous sample preparation. In addition, ELISA may not provide the information required for the confident understanding of the mechanism of action of a drug molecule.

In contrast, Biolayer-Interferometry (BLI) provides an easy to use the real-time label-free system.
